The External, or Out-Service, Training function of the Department of Rehabilitation’s (DOR’s) new Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) will be available starting Tuesday, August 4, 2020. 

The External Training function of the LMS represents a giant step forward into a paperless processing system. DOR employees will now be able to submit, approve, and check status of training requests (DR1125s) and training verifications (DR1126s) online.

As part of the process update effective August 3, 2020, staff will be responsible for requesting External training from their Supervisor through the LMS, and will be permitted to self-register for CalHR, CPS, and Is, Inc. courses. 

Training for Managers:

• Live training will be provided to Managers via Blackboard Collaborate on August 3, 2020 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

• Please copy and paste the training link into Google Chrome. Internet Explorer is not compatible with Blackboard Collaborate.
• Captioning will be available.

Training for Staff:
