COVID-19 Prevention Program

In an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus in our workplace, attached is DOR’s written site-specific COVID-19 Prevention Program (CPP).  The Department of Rehabilitation recently established this program and is making it available to all DOR employees at this time. Additional instructions and training will be provided to all supervisors and managers to give them full understanding of their responsibilities within the program and to answer and clarify questions.

Most of the elements and contents of the CPP have been included and communicated to all staff through Memos, DORALL, Work Site plan and FAQ’s.  Listed below are some of the new requirements included in the CPP.

  • Identification, Evaluation and Correction to COVID-19 hazards.
  • Providing a no-cost COVID-19 testing during work hours for potentially exposed employees.
  • Providing training and resources to educate employees on how COVID-19 is spread and preventative measures on how to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19.
